Some of last years winners. South Gibson Wrestling Club-Where Champions Get Started!!!
South Gibson Wrestling Club is a wrestling feeder program for Gibson Southern High School in Ft. Branch, Indiana. All boys from 1st to 5th grade who attend a Gibson Southern feeder school are invited to attend. Our program runs from the beginning of February to Spring Break every school year.


2001 Sign -Up Information

This years sign-ups will be February 5th, 6th, and 7th from 5-8pm in the Wrestling room at Gibson Southern High School.

This years fees will be 15.00 per wrestler (10.00 for any additional wrestler from the same family)

You will be notified the same weekend as sign-ups of your new coach and your practice schedule.


What's New This Year With The South Gibson Wrestling Club?
A few new events will take place in the 2001 season.
Once again all participants will receive a South Gibson Wrestling Club T-Shirt which will correspond with their teams colors; however, this year the club has ordered new singlets for the elementary school program, which will be issued at the beginning of the season and collected at the end of the season.

Also this year we will be wrestling more against other schools, other than Southridge who we have been wrestling frequently in the past. We have added Evansville Central and North and hopefully a Gibson County Tournament at the end of the season.

We feel by adding additional schools to our schedule we can only make our young wrestlers better. They can be exposed to the different styles they may encounter in the future.


First and foremost we want our wrestlers to have fun, but we also want them to learn the discipline to be champions.
